I had a great time coming back to revisit Ada-1's workshop to overhaul it and incorporate new in-world Synth-Weave technology that allows player vanity. Each of the individual loom reels are fully animated via vertex animation and shader math that controls a given reel from spinning and processing thread.
Vertex animation drives both the thread bobbing and mechanical jittering.
Vertex animation jiggle is ramped up on the draping parts of the strands at the same rate as the thread texture begins to pan.
